How this is measured
- A check every 5 minutes asks
api.php?action=health, which reports whether the engine, the settings and the storage are working. It needs no API key. - A failed check counts as 5 minutes of downtime. A gap in the record longer than twice that counts as downtime too, because a checker that could not write was probably not being answered either.
- The figures above are measured, not estimated, and the same numbers are available as JSON for your own monitoring.
- Planned maintenance is included: nothing is excluded from the count.
Measurements are kept for 400 days. They hold a timestamp, a verdict and a response time, and nothing about any request.
